inspiration #12: bliss.

so i have been blog-stalking mrs. french for some months now. she is an amazing, beautiful woman who happens to spot the beautiful things in our world that i most appreciate..

she and mr. french work out at my (wonderful) gym, and i couldn't be luckier that they are often there at the same late-morning time slot that i love to frequent.

the frenches happen to be expecting the next lovely (lady!) french, and through one of her recent posts, i stumbled upon her post of photos to this lovely site... which i can't get out of my mind.

i keep talking of a barn. a big party in a big (not too smelly) barn. perhaps this yellow delight of a space is our wedding venue? we'll just have too see what sort of sweet talking the durkin ladies can manage....

inspiration #11: sparklers.

i HATED sparklers when i was little. i was 100% sure that i would burn my hands off. i LOVE the idea of sparklers for a send-off.

inspiration #10: theo curl, master event coordinator.

i have found the dream wedding planner. meet theo curl.

theo has a birthday coming up, and i really believe this entrepreneurial event planner. i think he could really bring some great elements to the table.

such as:

horses. yes. i think horses would be SUH-WEET at our wedding.

live music? duh.

pretty dresses. no question.

frozen treats? okay, sounds good, theo!

we already talked about live music, theo! okay. yes. you're right. we should probably have a full band. okay. yes. great!

lounge chairs. i dig it.

jumping pictures? they're pretty mainstream anymore, but that doesn't mean i don't TOTALLY dig it.

moustaches! brilliant!

candy? hmm... interesting. i LIKE it!

pancakes? you're pushing it, kid... but i'm interested. oh, i guess we're adding one more piece to the band, huh?

i have a mid-week adventure with a couple of the girls planned tomorrow afternoon. we are heading to the english department in pdx. might even slip into a couple of things for ideas' sake. it's a dreamy little shop in sw, featuring local designer Elizabeth Dye as well as several nyc/la designers. should be funsies.
