the old married blogger

hello lovies

bless me blogger for i have sinned, my last blog post was... nearly two months ago! and now i am an old married woman.

lucky lucky me, though, as yesterday a most delightful package was delivered to me by the most wonderful heaven from over at green chair studio.

heaven was one of our photographers, along with stephen gilbert (WHAT!? TWO photographers? are you CRAZY girl? Yes, yes I am. It was also one of the best wedding planning choices I made... and I made a lot of good wedding choices....)

at any rate, here's a little teaser of some photos to keep you satiated. if you're a fb friend/foe, you've seen these already... but don't they look lovely over here in the tulleshed?

a sneak peak and a delightful vendor experience

so it's no secret that i'm obsessed with perusing (read, burning up precious hours) on etsy. if you aren't familiar with etsy, it's an artist/crafter online space, where folks can set up mini 'shops' to sell their goods. check it out.

i just about fell out of my chair when i stumbled across Star House on etsy. they make these adorable little wooden likenesses and creatures, which happen to make AMAZING cake toppers! not to mention, they are SO SWEET that you can put them on your coffee table under a simple cloche jar for an amazing post-wedding nick-nak! there was no question in my mind, this is what we needed to have!

working with heather from Star House was a dream - she was patient with me as with each sketch i decided i was changing something about my wedding, she was a quick communicator, and she operates all via email (dream of dreams! no, i don't have time to SIT DOWN with you, wedding vendor. i know, i know, 'your generation...). and, bottom line, the work she does is AMAZING.

i don't want to spoil the party, but here's a little sneak peak:

totally in love.

shoe envy #4: kate spade

charming, no? kate spade knows what she's doing. ESPECIALLY when it comes to some-what-preppy-garden-party-esque fun. AND LOOK AT THAT POM/FLOWER/PUFF THING! AND they're on sale. amazing.

IN OTHER NEWS: we have set a date! we are getting married on 10.9.10 in my parents' backyard! how fun!

stay tuned for more...
